SUMMARY:Manners and Tea Camp
DESCRIPTION:Ages: 4 and older (must be potty trained) \nIt is no secret interaction with peers is a key component to a well-rounded education and upbringing. This small camp environment allows children to enjoy the merits of a comfortable and safe setting for social interaction\, hosted by caring staff. Manners Camp is an on-going skill building program\, encouraging positive behaviors\, responsibility and good old-fashioned fun. Lessons in etiquette and social graces along with arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nSee below for details about our Counselor in Training (CIT) Program for children 10 years and older. \nLUNCHYou may send your child with a packed lunch. We also offer catered lunch by Northside Social. Orders are taken upon arrival and options include: chicken strips\, hamburger or cheeseburger\, cheese or pepperoni pizza\, peanut butter and jelly on croissant or house salad. All entrees come with chips and fresh fruit. \nEXTENDED CAREEarly bird drop-off (8-9am) and Late Owl pick-up (3-5pm) are included in Extended Care. This is a flat rate\, which is not pro-rated for singular attendance to morning or afternoon care. Late pick-ups may be charged Extended Care fee. Any pick-ups after 5pm will be charged a late fee. \nSCHEDULE8-9am: Early Bird drop off9-3pm: CAMP9-10am: Morning exercises (treasure hunts\, dancing\, & more!)10-11:15am: Table manners and tea time11:15-12:00pm: Clean up and play time12-1pm: Semi-fancy lunch followed by big screen movie time to rest1-2pm: Outdoor games (weather permitting)2-2:45pm: Arts & crafts2:45-3pm: Clean up and prepare for parent pick up3-5pm: Late Owl pick up \nREFUNDS/CANCELLATIONSCamp reservations are non-refundable. It is our pleasure to transfer your registration with at least one week notice to any available date through the remainder of the year. \nCOUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM (CIT) \nThis program is a wonderful addition to our Manners and Tea Camp and geared specifically for older campers who feel they have grown out of the normal camp but still enjoy the tearoom (10 years and older). \nCITs take a more active leadership role in learning effective ways to interact with younger children\, help with set up\, cleanup and transitioning between crafts and activities. They have a behind the scenes view of camp and become part a valued part of our TEAm. CITs receive advanced training in the art of etiquette and social graces while also enjoying a spot of tea and all the other fun aspects of camp. \nStaff will work with CITs to develop a more advanced approach to the skills we teach and model as well as review their progress and performance. \nPlease register your child for camp as you would normally but in the notes section mention you are registering as a CIT. We offer no more than two CIT position per camp.

DESCRIPTION:All ages welcome!\n$88 per parent/child couple\n5:30-7pm \n\n\nLearn to braid (and create up-do’s) with confidence. Braiding\, one of the oldest known hairstyles in history in almost every continent\, has always been about art. We pair this with laughter\, practice\, a cup of tea and delightful treats. Learning something new should be celebrated! \n\n\nGuests create a lasting memory with their models and leave feeling more comfortable and confident with styling hair for every-day occasions. \n\n\nSeats are limited so each student will have one-on-one time to work through the troubling areas of basic or advanced braids and other lovely hairstyles with our instructors. \n\n\nPlease bring your own brush\, we have plenty of elastics. You may also bring something for your model to do while seated. \n\n\nYou will enjoy a delightful tea service as you practice your new skills!

DESCRIPTION:Sold Out! \nAll Ages welcome! \nMay we have the honor of treating you and the special someone to afternoon tea? \nThis is an open-to-the-public seated tea service. Private tables will be set to for each party. \nA decadent tea service with dainty savories and desserts will spoil even the sweetest among us. Please come dressed in your Sunday best and we will take care of the rest – we have accessories galore with hats\, fascinators\, tiaras\, baubles and bows. \nChildren are most welcome to attend. Please note\, this is not a normal TWMB children’s event where they are lead through the experience. We expect them to exercise their finest behavior and certainly put to use some of the many manners they have learned at TWMB for camp\, cotillion or their own private party. \nPlease refrain from purchasing more than six tickets.
