DESCRIPTION:Ages: 4 and older (must be potty trained) \nIt is no secret interaction with peers is a key component to a well-rounded education and upbringing. This small camp environment allows children to enjoy the merits of a comfortable and safe setting for social interaction\, hosted by caring staff. Manners Camp is an on-going skill building program\, encouraging positive behaviors\, responsibility and good old-fashioned fun. Lessons in etiquette and social graces along with arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nSee below for details about our Counselor in Training (CIT) Program for children 11 years and older. \nLUNCHPlease send your child with a packed lunch. We will let you know if catered lunch is available the day prior to camp. \nEXTENDED CAREEarly bird drop-off (8-9am) and Late Owl pick-up (3-5pm) are included in Extended Care. This is a flat rate\, which is not pro-rated for singular attendance to morning or afternoon care. Late pick-ups may be charged Extended Care fee. Any pick-ups after 5pm will be charged a late fee. \nSCHEDULE8-9am: Early Bird drop off9-3pm: CAMP9-10am: Morning exercises (treasure hunts\, yoga\, dancing)10-11:15am: Table manners and tea time11:15-12:00pm: Clean up and play time12-1pm: Semi-fancy lunch followed by big screen movie time to rest1-2pm: Outdoor games (weather permitting)2-2:45pm: Arts & crafts2:45-3pm: Clean up and prepare for parent pick up3-5pm: Late Owl pick up \nREFUNDS/CANCELLATIONSCamp reservations are non-refundable. They have a behind the scenes view of camp and become part a valued part of our TEAm. CITs receive advanced training in the art of etiquette and social graces while also enjoying a spot of tea and all the other fun aspects of camp. \nStaff will work with CITs to develop a more advanced approach to the skills we teach and model as well as review their progress and performance. \nPlease register your child for camp as you would normally but in the notes section mention you are registering as a CIT. We offer no more than two CIT position per camp.

DESCRIPTION:$78 per person (includes tea service)\n9-12 years old \nDo good manners really make a difference? Absolutely! \nThis is a unique opportunity for older children to improve their manners by building on what they have already learned. This is a monthly program designed to refresh the maturing child’s ability to live a fuller life through perfecting his or her own behavior. Whether your child needs to strengthen his or her communication skills\, improve dining habits\, or be reminded of how to engage in social settings\, this is the course for it! \nMrs. B guides students\, from start to finish\, in what are the best practices when it comes to social nuances and dining etiquette. The lessons are catered to the students in attendance\, but often include: \n– introductions\n– carrying on conversation\n– reading social queues\n– formal and informal table settings\n– verbal and written communication\n– serving ourselves and others\n– using utensils properly\n– anticipating and reacting kindly \nWe are passionate about teaching practical manners in the most engaging and impressionable way. Good manners\, after all\, are a ticket to elevated experiences and good times in life. The way one behaves is a gift to oneself and to others. \nThis is an excellent opportunity for children to make new friends\, learn new things\, and to practice navigating social gatherings with ease and joy.
