Whether your child needs to strengthen his or her communication skills\, improve dining habits\, or be reminded of how to engage in social settings\, this is the course for it! \nMrs. B’s positive approach and time-tested lessons on dining etiquette and general comportment encourages children to bring the lessons home and make them their own. Each session is catered to the children in attendance\, but often include: \n– introductions\n– carrying on conversation\n– reading social queues\n– formal and informal table settings\n– verbal and written communication\n– serving ourselves and others\n– using utensils properly\n– anticipating and reacting kindly \nWe are passionate about teaching practical manners in the most engaging and impressionable way. Good manners\, after all\, are a ticket to elevated experiences and good times in life. They have a behind the scenes view of camp and become part a valued part of our TEAm. CITs receive advanced training in the art of etiquette and social graces while also enjoying a spot of tea and all the other fun aspects of camp. \nStaff will work with CITs to develop a more advanced approach to the skills we teach and model as well as review their progress and performance. \nPlease register your child for camp as you would normally but in the notes section mention you are registering as a CIT. We offer no more than two CIT position per camp.

DESCRIPTION:4:00 – 5:30pm   OR   6:15 – 7:45pm\n$85 per person \nYou are formally invited to join us for our Father–Daughter Royal Ball.  With unforgettable experiences designed to bring fathers and daughters together\, all guests will enjoy dancing\, crafts\, desserts\, and special beverages in our open floor plan–the classic tea room like you have never seen it before!  Children will have the opportunity to make a special keepsake\, and joyful moments will be captured by a professional photographer. \nTo top it all off\, all guests will be treated to a resplendent tour through the neighborhood on a real\, horse-drawn Cinderella carriage! \n  \nCome to the early bird Royal Ball from 4-5:30pm and afterward treat your little darling to a regal dinner where her most magnificent manners are celebrated \nOR \nJoin for the evening Royal Ball from 6:15-7:45pm\, allowing time for an elegant dinner out followed by dancing and more at the tea room! \n  \n*In the event of rain\, the Father–Daughter Royal Ball will be held one week later on May 12\, 2023.

During this evening to remember\, Mrs. B leads young guests on adventures in comportment and social graces\, all while having a BALL! \nWe explore what it means to be formal in both attire and attitude. Guests are encouraged to arrive donning their royal garments but we also have accessories galore. An elegant table setting with a fancy pizza dinner and delectable sweets–as well as manners to match the occasion–complement dancing\, a treasure hunt and a short flick on the big screen. \nAn evening like this brings out the best in everyone! Your child will refresh their everyday approach to using (and enjoying) their own good manners and return home polished and poised. \nThis evening is designed as a public event to encourage meeting new friends\, practicing good manners and experiencing the tea room with Mrs. B. Please refrain from purchases of four or more tickets.
