Lessons in etiquette and social graces along with arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nSee below for details about our Counselor in Training (CIT) Program for children 11 years and older. \nLUNCHYou may send your child with a packed lunch. We also offer catered lunch by Northside Social. Orders are taken upon arrival and options include: chicken strips\, hamburger or cheeseburger\, cheese or pepperoni pizza\, peanut butter and jelly on croissant or house salad. All entrees come with chips and fresh fruit. \nEXTENDED CAREEarly bird drop-off (8-9am) and Late Owl pick-up (3-5pm) are included in Extended Care. This interactive class focuses on essential life skills\, including dining etiquette\, effective communication\, body language\, and other important manners that help build respectful and confident individuals at home and beyond. \nIn this program\, parents and children will learn together as Mrs. B\, a renowned expert in manners and family dynamics\, shares valuable insights and practical tips to begin using right away. Through fun and engaging activities\, you’ll discover how to foster good manners at the table\, improve communication in family settings\, and reinforce respectful behaviors in everyday life. \nHighlights of the this new class include but are not limited to: \n\nDining Etiquette: Teach your child proper table manners in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.\nCommunication Skills: Learn how to encourage polite conversation and active listening.\nBody Language: Understand how non-verbal cues impact communication and interaction.\nFamily Engagement: Parents will be empowered to reinforce the lessons at home\, creating a cohesive approach to teaching these good manners.\nTea Time: Enjoy a delightful tea service together as you practice your new skills!\n\nWhen registering\, please let Mrs. B know below what specific areas of improvement you would like to see most in your child and she will creatively include this into the lesson. \nThis program is designed to create a positive\, engaging environment where families can have a great time while learning and growing in their understanding of good manners and why they are important. DESCRIPTION:Ages: 4 and older (must be potty trained) \nIt is no secret interaction with peers is a key component to a well-rounded education and upbringing. This small camp environment allows children to enjoy the merits of a comfortable and safe setting for social interaction\, hosted by caring staff. Manners Camp is an on-going skill building program\, encouraging positive behaviors\, responsibility and good old-fashioned fun. Lessons in etiquette and social graces along with arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nSee below for details about our Counselor in Training (CIT) Program for children 11 years and older. \nLUNCHYou may send your child with a packed lunch. We also offer catered lunch by Northside Social. Orders are taken upon arrival and options include: chicken strips\, hamburger or cheeseburger\, cheese or pepperoni pizza\, peanut butter and jelly on croissant or house salad. All entrees come with chips and fresh fruit. \nEXTENDED CAREEarly bird drop-off (8-9am) and Late Owl pick-up (3-5pm) are included in Extended Care. This is a flat rate\, which is not pro-rated for singular attendance to morning or afternoon care. Late pick-ups may be charged Extended Care fee. It is our pleasure to transfer your registration with at least one week notice to any available date through the remainder of the year. \nCOUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM (CIT) \nThis program is a wonderful addition to our Manners and Tea Camp and geared specifically for older campers who feel they have grown out of the normal camp but still enjoy the tearoom (11 years and older). \nCITs take a more active leadership role in learning effective ways to interact with younger children\, help with set up\, cleanup and transitioning between crafts and activities. They have a behind the scenes view of camp and become part a valued part of our TEAm. CITs receive advanced training in the art of etiquette and social graces while also enjoying a spot of tea and all the other fun aspects of camp. \nStaff will work with CITs to develop a more advanced approach to the skills we teach and model as well as review their progress and performance. \nPlease register your child for camp as you would normally but in the notes section mention you are registering as a CIT. We offer no more than two CIT position per camp.

DESCRIPTION:All ages welcome!\n$88 per parent/child couple\n5:30-7pm \nLearn to braid (and create up-do’s) with confidence. Braiding\, one of the oldest known hairstyles in history in almost every continent\, has always been about art. We pair this with laughter\, practice\, a cup of tea and delightful treats. Learning something new should be celebrated! \nGuests create a lasting memory with their models and leave feeling more comfortable and confident with styling hair for every-day occasions. \nSeats are limited so each student will have one-on-one time to work through the troubling areas of basic or advanced braids and other lovely hairstyles with our instructors. \nPlease bring your own brush\, we have plenty of elastics. You may also bring something for your model to do while seated. \nYou will enjoy a delightful tea service as you practice your new skills!
