With years of experience teaching online\, math tutor and magical math unicorn\, Ms. Rebecca Zook\, is the professional to lead us on this journey. \nMrs. B and Ms. Zook are perfectly paired to help give a fresh start to math in the new year and give us something to really fall in love with – the process of learning in a positive way. We have once again teamed up to host a virtual math tea party for adults and children to attend TOGETHER. We unveil the secrets of making math magical and fun. \nYou will learn simple and effective tools to be used on any problem\, at any grade level. We will practice applying these tools together\, choosing from problems you send to us in advance. Participants will take turns getting help on their specific problems. This tea is intended for adults to attend with children. By attending together you will get a maximum positive impact. \nBrew your favorite tea\, set your table and don your most festive party hat. We are in this together and will walk you through this rather intimidating subject with Mrs. B’s signature whimsy and can-do attitude. As we all know\, a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. \nInterested in a catered tea party to go box? Starting at $36\, boxes serve one full Afternoon Tea menu and include: cucumber sandwich\, two cheese sandwich\, scones with jam and cream\, macaroons\, chocolate covered strawberry\, brownie\, tea and sugar. Lessons in etiquette and social graces make the perfect complement to your child’s scholastic education. \nWhile Tea with Mrs. B staff are practiced in the education of etiquette\, we are not certified teachers and will not assume the responsibility of tutoring/teaching academic material. \nChildren are required to bring their own learning devices: books\, iPads\, laptops\, headphones\, assignments\, etc. Our staff will facilitate learning by setting each child up with his or her own quiet space\, secure WIFI access and writing utensils if needed. Children registered for the week will be assigned secure space to store their things. \nUpon registration\, kindly include any schedule your child must adhere to (e.g. classroom streaming daily at 11am)\, so we may ensure their successful participation. \n\nLUNCH\nPlease send your child with a packed lunch. DESCRIPTION:Ages 4-11 \n\n\nMaximum: 11 children\nMinimum: 4 children \n\n\n\n\nWe successfully hosted in-person camps and events throughout 2020 and look forward to hosting camp this Spring. This will be a small group camp to abide by CDC and state guidelines. Our staff is dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment each day. This small group provides a well rounded social environment to brush up on the soft skills of life\, gently guided by Mrs. B and her excellent team. We encourage positive behavior and responsibility paired with good old fashioned fun. Arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nLUNCH\nPlease send your child with a packed lunch. Catered lunch will only be available on Friday. \n\nEXTENDED CARE\nEarly bird drop-off (8-9am) and Late Owl pick-up (3-5pm) are included in Extended Care. This is a flat rate\, which is not pro-rated for singular attendance to morning or afternoon care. Late pick-ups may be charged extended care fee. This will be a small group camp to abide by CDC and state guidelines. Our staff is dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment each day. This small group provides a well rounded social environment to brush up on the soft skills of life\, gently guided by Mrs. B and her excellent team. We encourage positive behavior and responsibility paired with good old fashioned fun. Arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nLUNCH\nPlease send your child with a packed lunch. Catered lunch will only be available on Friday. \n\nEXTENDED CARE\nEarly bird drop-off (8-9am) and Late Owl pick-up (3-5pm) are included in Extended Care. This is a flat rate\, which is not pro-rated for singular attendance to morning or afternoon care. Late pick-ups may be charged extended care fee. Daily activities will still include a full tea service with healthy snacks\, outdoor time\, and creative play with new friends. \nIt is no secret that interaction with peers is a key component to a well rounded education. By becoming part of this small “camp” environment\, your child will enjoy the merits of a comfortable and safe setting for social interaction\, hosted by a caring staff\, who will encourage focused attention to school work. Manners Camp is an on-going skill building program\, encouraging positive behaviors\, responsibility and good old fashioned fun. Lessons in etiquette and social graces make the perfect complement to your child’s scholastic education. \nWhile Tea with Mrs. B staff are practiced in the education of etiquette\, we are not certified teachers and will not assume the responsibility of tutoring/teaching academic material. \nChildren are required to bring their own learning devices: books\, iPads\, laptops\, headphones\, assignments\, etc. Our staff will facilitate learning by setting each child up with his or her own quiet space\, secure WIFI access and writing utensils if needed. Children registered for the week will be assigned secure space to store their things. \nUpon registration\, kindly include any schedule your child must adhere to (e.g. classroom streaming daily at 11am)\, so we may ensure their successful participation. \n\nLUNCH\nPlease send your child with a packed lunch. Tea time includes healthy savories and a few sweets. \n\n\nREFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS\nCamp reservations are non-refundable. Lessons in etiquette and social graces make the perfect complement to your child’s scholastic education. \nWhile Tea with Mrs. B staff are practiced in the education of etiquette\, we are not certified teachers and will not assume the responsibility of tutoring/teaching academic material. \nChildren are required to bring their own learning devices: books\, iPads\, laptops\, headphones\, assignments\, etc. Our staff will facilitate learning by setting each child up with his or her own quiet space\, secure WIFI access and writing utensils if needed. Children registered for the week will be assigned secure space to store their things. \nUpon registration\, kindly include any schedule your child must adhere to (e.g. classroom streaming daily at 11am)\, so we may ensure their successful participation. \n\nLUNCH\nPlease send your child with a packed lunch. Tea time includes healthy savories and a few sweets. \n\n\nREFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS\nCamp reservations are non-refundable. It is our pleasure to transfer your registration to any available date within the spring/summer 2021 school year\, with at least one week notice. \n\nCOVID-19 precautions we are taking: \n\nThere will be a limited number of campers. – 4 minimum; 8 maximum.\nAll staff are required to stay home if they are sick or notice any symptoms of any illness. They will self-quarantine for 2 weeks if they are to come into contact with anyone with COVID-19.\nWe have put into place a stringent daily cleaning regimen for all shared common surfaces and play items.\nHand washing will take place often. Additionally\, hand sanitizer is always available.\nMasks will be required for anyone 5 years or older. Children under 5 years are not required to wear masks but are welcome to do so if they like.\nDrop-off and pick-up will be on the front steps\, outside of the tearoom.  Each morning we will take each child’s temperature. Parents will be asked to sign a waiver stating the child/children have not been ill or around anyone with COVID-19 for more than 2-weeks.\nHydration is important and while we normally offer a water station\, we ask children to bring their own water bottle and can refill as needed.\nDaily activities will remain as close to what they were prior to COVID-19\, including short outdoor excursion in the neighborhood or park along with arts and crafts time.

DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, June 13th  from 4-5pm\nAges 2-7 \nThe Toddler Tea is a monthly event designed to invite new and old friends to experience the tearoom in all of it’s glory. There is no place like it in the D.C. metro area and certainly no on who can lead you through tea quiet like Mrs. B! \nThis is a small group\, public gathering for adults and children to enjoy together. Older children are invited as well but we encourage our littlest friends to attend. \nThe group will be seated at the same table and we encourage guests to meet new people\, practice good manners and making sweet memories. Please refrain from bulk purchases this is meant to be a public event. Even with capacities and mandates for COVID being lifted we will maintain a smaller group for this gathering. \nWorried your little one might be a bull in a tea shop? Fret not! Mrs. B thinks tots should enjoy the finer things\, too. We delight in having all ages enjoy a beautiful table and delicious treats.
