Manners Camp is an on-going skill building program\, encouraging positive behaviors\, responsibility and good old fashioned fun. Lessons in etiquette and social graces along with arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nLUNCH\nPlease plan to send your child with a packed lunch and water bottle. \nSCHEDULE\n9-3pm: CAMP\n9-10am: Morning exercises (treasure hunts\, yoga\, dancing)\n10-11:15am: Table manners and tea time\n11:15-12:00pm: Clean up and play time\n12-1pm: Semi-fancy lunch followed by big screen movie time to rest\n1-2pm: Outdoor games (weather permitting)\n2-2:45pm: Arts & crafts\n2:45-3pm: Clean up and prepare for parent pick up \nREFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS\nCamp reservations are non-refundable. It is our pleasure to transfer your registration to any available date within the winter/spring 2022 school year\, with at least one week notice. \nCOVID-19 precautions: \n\nAll staff are vaccinated for COVID-19.\nWe have a strong circulation of air with 25′ ceilings and keep our large garage door open for additional air\, weather permitting. We spend as much time as possible outside.\nWe have put into place a stringent daily cleaning regimen for all shared common surfaces and play items.\nHand washing will take place often. Additionally\, hand sanitizer is always available.\nDrop-off and pick-up will be on the front steps\, outside of the tearoom.\nHydration is important and while we normally offer a water station\, we ask children to bring their own water bottle and  refill as needed.\nDaily activities will remain as close to what they were prior to COVID-19\, including short outdoor excursion in the neighborhood or park along with arts and crafts time.\nPlease note\, children are welcome to wear masks\, however they are not required.

Mrs. Rebecca Czarniecki\, better known as Mrs. B\, will help spark your daughter’s interest in and awareness to her own charm and good manners when it comes to communicating. \nThis is an investment in learning and practicing valuable life skills\, often called “soft skills”. Students will deepen their understanding of how to properly communicate on a variety of levels. \nThe time spent together will also help your daughter gain confidence and composure. Mrs. B thoughtfully engages each student as she covers lessons on: eye contact\, smiling\, greetings and salutations\, introductions\, walking\, waiting\, sitting and overall outward appearances. The time together promises to be memorable and merry.

Each class will vary on specific lessons but always include engaging and memorable instructions on social graces\, dining etiquette and personal behavior. The lesson for each class will be organized to the match the needs of those attending. Please let Mrs. B know below what specific areas of improvement you would like to see most in your child. \nThe goal for these monthly\, public classes is to give children an opportunity to hit the refresh button how they conduct and carry themselves. Just as we periodically deep clean our living spaces\, this offers the same for how your child acts and reacts in public and private. These classes are fun\, engaging\, entertaining and rewarding. Can they enjoy behaving well?\nIs there a way to make learning manners less of a negative reaction?\nCan you imagine your child encouraging the rest of your family to behave politely? \nAbsolutely\, YES!  \nMrs. B is the perfect coach. Her tearoom is an ideal location to enrich your child’s development and practice polite and kind behaviors. \nThis monthly offering for a small group is geared towards older children – boys on one day and girls on another. Each class will vary on specific lessons but always include engaging and memorable instructions on social graces\, dining etiquette and personal behavior. The lesson for each class will be organized to the match the needs of those attending. Please let Mrs. B know below what specific areas of improvement you would like to see most in your child. \nThe goal for these monthly\, public classes is to give children an opportunity to hit the refresh button how they conduct and carry themselves. Just as we periodically deep clean our living spaces\, this offers the same for how your child acts and reacts in public and private. These classes are fun\, engaging\, entertaining and rewarding. Mrs. B is a positive and energetic role model. She helps develop confident and composed students. The lesson for each class will be organized to the match the needs of those attending. Please let Mrs. B know below what specific areas of improvement you would like to see most in your child. \nThe goal for these monthly\, public classes is to give children an opportunity to hit the refresh button how they conduct and carry themselves. Manners Camp is an on-going skill building program\, encouraging positive behaviors\, responsibility and good old fashioned fun. Lessons in etiquette and social graces along with arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nLUNCH\nPlease plan to send your child with a packed lunch. We will let you know if catered lunch is available the day prior to camp. \nSCHEDULE\n9-3pm: CAMP\n9-10am: Morning exercises (treasure hunts\, yoga\, dancing)\n10-11:15am: Table manners and tea time\n11:15-12:00pm: Clean up and play time\n12-1pm: Semi-fancy lunch followed by big screen movie time to rest\n1-2pm: Outdoor games (weather permitting)\n2-2:45pm: Arts & crafts\n2:45-3pm: Clean up and prepare for parent pick up \nREFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS\nCamp reservations are non-refundable. We explore what it means to be formal in both attire and attitude. An elegant table setting with a fancy pizza dinner and delectable sweets sets the stage for every age. Manners to match the occasion compliment dancing\, a treasure hunt and a short film on the big screen. \nAn evening like this brings out the best in everyone!  Your child will refresh their everyday approach to using (and enjoying) their own good manners and return home polished and poised. \nThis evening is designed as a public event to encourage meeting new friends\, practicing good manners and experiencing the tea room with Mrs. B. DESCRIPTION:Ages 4-11 \nMinimum: 4 children \nIt is no secret interaction with peers is a key component to a well rounded education. By becoming part of this small camp environment\, your child will enjoy the merits of a comfortable and safe setting for social interaction\, hosted by caring staff. Manners Camp is an on-going skill building program\, encouraging positive behaviors\, responsibility and good old fashioned fun. Lessons in etiquette and social graces along with arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nLUNCH\nPlease plan to send your child with a packed lunch. We will let you know if catered lunch is available the day prior to camp. \nEXTENDED CARE\nEarly bird drop-off (8-9am) and Late Owl pick-up (3-5pm) are included in Extended Care. This is a flat rate\, which is not pro-rated for singular attendance to morning or afternoon care. Late pick-ups may be charged extended care fee. Any pick-ups after 5pm will be charged. \nSCHEDULE\n8-9am: Early Bird drop off\n9-3pm: CAMP\n9-10am: Morning exercises (treasure hunts\, yoga\, dancing)\n10-11:15am: Table manners and tea time\n11:15-12:00pm: Clean up and play time\n12-1pm: Semi-fancy lunch followed by big screen movie time to rest\n1-2pm: Outdoor games (weather permitting)\n2-2:45pm: Arts & crafts\n2:45-3pm: Clean up and prepare for parent pick up\n3-5pm: Late Owl pick up \nREFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS\nCamp reservations are non-refundable. It is our pleasure to transfer your registration to any available date within the winter/spring 2022 school year\, with at least one week notice. \nCOVID-19 precautions: \n\nAll staff are vaccinated for COVID-19.\nWe have a strong circulation of air with 25′ ceilings and keep our large garage door open for additional air\, weather permitting. We spend as much time as possible outside.\nWe have put into place a stringent daily cleaning regimen for all shared common surfaces and play items.\nHand washing will take place often. Additionally\, hand sanitizer is always available.\nDrop-off and pick-up will be on the front steps\, outside of the tearoom.\nHydration is important and while we normally offer a water station\, we ask children to bring their own water bottle and  refill as needed.\nDaily activities will remain as close to what they were prior to COVID-19\, including short outdoor excursion in the neighborhood or park along with arts and crafts time.\nPlease note\, children are welcome to wear masks\, however they are not required.
