Lessons in etiquette and social graces along with arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nLUNCH\nPlease plan to send your child with a packed lunch. We will let you know if catered lunch is available the day prior to camp. \nEXTENDED CARE\nExtended care covers additional play time from 8-9am and 3-5pm. This is a flat rate\, which is not pro-rated for singular attendance to morning or afternoon care. Late pick-ups may be charged extended care fee. The lessons are catered to the students in attendance\, but often include: \n– introductions\n– carrying on conversation\n– reading social queues\n– formal and informal table settings\n– verbal and written communication\n– serving ourselves and others\n– using utensils properly\n– anticipating and reacting kindly \nWe are passionate about teaching practical manners in the most engaging and impressionable way. DESCRIPTION:Ages: 4 and older (must be potty trained) \nMinimum: 4 children \nIt is no secret interaction with peers is a key component to a well-rounded education and upbringing. This small camp environment allows children to enjoy the merits of a comfortable and safe setting for social interaction\, hosted by caring staff. Manners Camp is an on-going skill building program\, encouraging positive behaviors\, responsibility and good old-fashioned fun. Lessons in etiquette and social graces along with arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nSee below for details about our Counselor in Training (CIT) Program for children 11 years and older. \nLUNCHPlease send your child with a packed lunch. We will let you know if catered lunch is available the day prior to camp. \nEXTENDED CAREEarly bird drop-off (8-9am) and Late Owl pick-up (3-5pm) are included in Extended Care. This is a flat rate\, which is not pro-rated for singular attendance to morning or afternoon care. Late pick-ups may be charged Extended Care fee. It is our pleasure to transfer your registration with at least one week notice to any available date through the remainder of the year. \nCOUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM (CIT) \nThis program is a wonderful addition to our Manners and Tea Camp and geared specifically for older campers who feel they have grown out of the normal camp but still enjoy the tearoom (11 years and older). \nCITs take a more active leadership role in learning effective ways to interact with younger children\, help with set up\, cleanup and transitioning between crafts and activities.
