SUMMARY:Braiding 101
DESCRIPTION:10-11am\nAll ages welcome!\n$78 per parent/child couple \nLearn to braid (and create up-do’s) with confidence. Braiding\, one of the oldest known hairstyles in history in almost every continent\, has always been about art. We pair this with laughter\, practice\, a cup of tea and delightful treats. Learning something new should be celebrated! \nGuests create a lasting memory with their models and leave feeling more comfortable and confident with styling hair for every-day occasions. \nSeats are limited (3 student couples per instructor) so each student will have one-on-one time to work through the troubling areas of basic or advanced braids and other lovely hairstyles with our instructors. \nPlease bring your own brush\, we have plenty of elastics. You may also bring something for your model to do while seated.

SUMMARY:Summer Cotillion
DESCRIPTION:We are laying out the red carpet in honor of our first-ever intensive series of summer cotillion classes. The newly expanded ballroom\, adjoining the tearoom\, is the perfect setting for learning and practicing how to gracefully grow into charming young adults. \nThis summer series\, unlike the school year sessions\, will include the option to sign up for individual lessons – just one to all four of the classes. There is a total of four evenings (1.5 hrs) to acquaint students with the WHY and HOW behind the manners that parents are often trying to teach their children. \nStudents will cultivate strong\, clear methods of communication\, interaction and dining while joyfully dancing along the way. Our goal is to strengthen character and awareness in your maturing child. This is a time to foster new friendships\, polish personal style and develop composure. These are the lessons that help make confident and kind young adults. \nWe are thrilled to set the stage\, set the table\, and offer a new voice that will help reinforce these valuable and life-long lessons in your maturing child! \nFood will be offered during each session. \nAge: 9-14 years old \nSchedule:\nWednesday\, July 24th from 6-7:30pm\nIntroductions\, Salutations & Body Language\n(Punch & cookies)\n$49 \nFriday July 26th\, 2024 from 6:00pm-7:30pm\nCommunication Skills\n(Passed hors d’oeuvres & beverages)\n$49 \nMonday July 29th\, 2024 6:00pm-7:30pm\nDining\n(Catered dinner)\n$75 \nTuesday July 30th\, 2024 6:00pm-7:30pm\nPersonal Style\, Grace and Chivalry with Dancing\n(Tea service)\n$68 \nDress Code: Ladies\, show off your style with a dress\, skirt or classy slacks. Put on those dancing shoes\, we recommend a flat or low heel. Gentlemen\, a collared shirt and pressed shorts go a long way\, but if you want to be bold\, tie up those ties\, pull out your slacks\, polish your shoes. When in doubt\, always dress up – this is your chance to dress your best for a night out. \nCancellations:\nTickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

They have a behind the scenes view of camp and become part a valued part of our TEAm. CITs receive advanced training in the art of etiquette and social graces while also enjoying a spot of tea and all the other fun aspects of camp. \nStaff will work with CITs to develop a more advanced approach to the skills we teach and model as well as review their progress and performance. \nPlease register your child for camp as you would normally but in the notes section mention you are registering as a CIT. We offer no more than two CIT position per camp.
