SUMMARY:Manners and Tea Day Camp
DESCRIPTION:Ages: 4 and older (must be potty trained) \nMinimum: 4 children \nIt is no secret interaction with peers is a key component to a well-rounded education and upbringing. This small camp environment allows children to enjoy the merits of a comfortable and safe setting for social interaction\, hosted by caring staff. Manners Camp is an on-going skill building program\, encouraging positive behaviors\, responsibility and good old-fashioned fun. Lessons in etiquette and social graces along with arts\, crafts and creative play for every age is a staple to each day. \nSee below for details about our Counselor in Training (CIT) Program for children 11 years and older. \nLUNCH\nPlease send your child with a packed lunch. We will let you know if catered lunch is available the day prior to camp. \nEXTENDED CARE\nEarly bird drop-off (8-9am) and Late Owl pick-up (3-5pm) are included in Extended Care. This is a flat rate\, which is not pro-rated for singular attendance to morning or afternoon care. Late pick-ups may be charged Extended Care fee. Any pick-ups after 5pm will be charged a late fee. \nSCHEDULE\n8-9am: Early Bird drop off\n9-3pm: CAMP\n9-10am: Morning exercises (treasure hunts\, yoga\, dancing)\n10-11:15am: Table manners and tea time\n11:15-12:00pm: Clean up and play time\n12-1pm: Semi-fancy lunch followed by big screen movie time to rest\n1-2pm: Outdoor games (weather permitting)\n2-2:45pm: Arts & crafts\n2:45-3pm: Clean up and prepare for parent pick up\n3-5pm: Late Owl pick up \n  \nREFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS\nCamp reservations are non-refundable. It is our pleasure to transfer your registration with at least one week notice to any available date through the remainder of the year. \n  \nCOUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM (CIT) \nThis program is a wonderful addition to our Manners and Tea Camp and geared specifically for older campers who feel they have grown out of the normal camp but still enjoy the tearoom (11 years and older). \nCITs take a more active leadership role in learning effective ways to interact with younger children\, help with set up\, cleanup and transitioning between crafts and activities. They have a behind the scenes view of camp and become part a valued part of our TEAm. CITs receive advanced training in the art of etiquette and social graces while also enjoying a spot of tea and all the other fun aspects of camp. \nStaff will work with CITs to develop a more advanced approach to the skills we teach and model as well as review their progress and performance. \nPlease register your child for camp as you would normally but in the notes section mention you are registering as a CIT. We offer no more than two CIT position per camp.

DESCRIPTION:5:30 – 7:00pm\nAges: 6 and up\n$78 per person \nCrafting personal valentines for others is a centuries-old tradition that still speaks volumes when given to loved ones today.  During this special St. Valentine-themed card and craft night\, children will learn from Lady Lia–our designer extraordinaire–how to train their eye to bring life and a personal touch to any creation. \nThese timeless keepsakes are perfect as a treasured gift or to be enjoyed at home. All supplies included for up to 30 hand-made class valentines. \nPlease be sure to have the children eat before they arrive as we will be busy crafting the entire time except for a midway break of tea and sweets. \n
